Little People

Both my mom and Shawn's mom have carefully held on to the old fisher price little people sets that we played with as kids. So for the past week or so, Carly has had an absolute blast playing with all of these classic toys. It brings back a lot of happy childhood memories for me when I help her get things set up. Even Isaac is enjoying putting the people into cars or walking them through doors. It's a lot of fun to see them play and enjoy these things.

These pictures are of Carly playing before bed the other night with the block house that Aunt Sharon helped her build.

Carly was also found up playing with these at almost midnight last week. Shawn and I had already gone to bed so apparently she thought the coast was clear to sneak back downstairs and play some more. Too bad Grandma heard the familar sound of little people being ruffled around. Busted cutie--by Grandma too!


So how many of you out there played with fisher price little people growing up? And for those who may have children who play with the new version, do you agree that the new ones just aren't as good as the old school ones?
