Shawn escorted me to the JPD awards banquet Saturday night. It was a semi-formal occasion with excellent food and some great conversations. And we splurged and got the optional pictures taken. Pretty good, but I think I look tired. I guess I should be after two weeks of single parenting while Shawn was out slaying Alaskan mammoth's (moose). And these are actually my least tired looking shots.
Other than being noted for 5 years with JPD, Shawn didn't formally win any awards. Obviously the commitee didn't ask me, because he would have been my pick for officer of the year.

Question - Shawn has been with JPD for 5 years? Something's not calculating right in my head; you haven't really lived there for five years, have you?
How fun! I haven't dressed up in years! So I don't know if I told you, but when I go to visit my parents, we are going to a broadway musical in NYC so I finally get to wear my little black dress. It's exciting...
What a special time though. Going out together, dressed up, living life, and having good times. You look great.
