Carly's current session of swimming lessons wrapped up today. She's done a great job and I can tell her skills are really progressing. Isaac has also done a great job supporting his sister. Compared to the last session a few months ago, he's been so much calmer and obedient in the locker room at the pool and much more patient waiting during her lesson time. He even calmly stood next to me on the side of the pool the other day while I snapped these pictures. Not even once did he try to bolt off. I think it helped that I had just given him a cup of juice that he was giving the majority of his attention to.

nice form!

not necessarily enjoying putting her face in the water, but she does it without fussing

the "not so graceful" part of the pool

This was the first "posed face" I got when she came out of the pool.

So I told her I wanted a nice one for Grandma and this is what I got. So I guess this one is for all you Grandma's out there. Enjoy!

And remember, in the words of Dory the fish, "Just keep swimming!"

Phelps Family Adventures is a perfect title for your blog. I scrolled down and looked at your blog posts and just giggled at all the excitement in your home! You are an adorable family and I'm so glad I popped by for a visit. :)
Have a beautiful day!

In 10 years Carly might now appreciate the "less than graceful" picture of her getting out of the pool, but you're right...thats probably not anyone's preferred part about swimming! Glad she's enjoyed the lessons!
Good job Carly! What a brave girl you are. You look so cute in your swimming suit. Love Grandma Hinds
