The little missy wanted to ride her bike and I agreed. She's been doing a great job riding on short walks or in front of our house and not getting tired too quickly. So I figured this might be the year she could do it--ride her bike all the way to the glacier without pooping out and begging me to push her bike for her.
I figured the little man would want to walk some of the way, but I knew he would get tired and I wasn't going to be carrying his 35 lb. self, so I took the stroller. To my surprise, he rode in the stroller the whole time and was quite glad to. That made it nice for me to be able to walk at a faster pace instead of a 2 year old pace.
I'm very proud of her four year old feet that pushed her four little wheels all the way to the glacier and back. She did walk and push her bike a few times, but she took care of it herself and didn't ask me to push it for her! What a big girl!
Practicing her Lance Armstrong moves.
A beautiful day called for a great walk/bike ride and I'm glad we took the opportunity. Especially since it snowed two inches overnight. (Fortunately, it's trying to turn to rain now. Hopefully it will melt off soon.)

Does Isaac really weight 35 lbs?! Wesley only weighs 28! Those are such majestic views that you get to see on your walks, thanks for sharing them w/ us!
What a gorgious day! The kids are really making great memories.
Hopefully I can join you sometime. Love, MOM
All I have to say is 35 lbs?! =) (I had that in mind before I saw Marilyn's comment.) What a healthy little guy! I love the pics, too. I sure wish we could come up to see you!!! I've always wanted to visit Alaska. I suppose you won't be making a trek down to OR this summer since you're pregnant. There will be so many of the clan there including the TZ family.
Yes, it's true. He really is 35 lbs. He's only about 2.5 lbs behind his sister--who happens to be 2.5 years older!
Oh, I should also say that he's pretty much just a solid mass of muscle. Unfortunately many of the younger kids at church have found this out the hard way, as he walks right through them. He's really just built like a linebacker right now. Sort of reminds my of how my brother was at that age.
Ya got that right. They call me Tank.
Show them your muscles Isaac. Then go pound some nails in some wood just like Uncle Eric H did.
