Not-So-Cowardly Lion

We had more sunshine today, so I took more pictures. I did a little photo shoot with Isaac so I could get a picture for his birthday party invitations. We're doing a zoo animal theme and it's just a week and a half away! So I took pictures of him in his Halloween costume for the coming year. He was much better about getting his picture taken today. So that made it much more fun. I took a ton and got several really good shots. None of these made the cut for the invitation, but I wanted to share them with our blog audience. Enjoy!

These are great! I'm glad he kept the head piece on for the pics, I'm wondering if Wesley will for his Halloween costume?!

I'm getting busy on the Dorothy dress for the little princess. And red sparkly shoes too. They'll be so cute. Love MOM

It's true, as cute as Isaac is in this costume, he's pretty much going to be his sister's sidekick for Halloween. I figure it's a good year for that since he won't really know the difference. I've secretly been planning this out pretty much since we found out Isaac was going to be a boy. No, I didn't make his costume. I probably could have, but not for as cheaply as I was able to buy it. I got it from www.babycenter.com I was ordering other "baby proofing" items from them that I couldn't get in town, and their costumes were all on sale. Couldn't beat that--especially with free shipping.

I wondered if Carly was going to be Dorothy! I can't wait to see pictures of the two together!

Isaac is sure cute! I saw some red, sparkly shoes at Target. Not sure if you have any for Carly yet but they'd be perfect! =)

Karen, you read my mind. Sharon actually already picked up a pair of ruby red shoes for us. Unfortunately, we don't have a Target here. But that's ok, it makes it all the more fun to shop there when we go south.

You should post a picture of how your invitations turned out (if you have a copy of one) I'd love to see them!
